Saba Mahboub’s Journey to Empowering Leaders

Saba Mahboub’s story begins in the vibrant city of Tehran, a place where tradition and modernity collide, shaping ambitious dreamers like her. Born into a hardworking family—her father, a skilled carpenter, and her mother, a dedicated teacher—she was naturally curious, creative, and always searching for deeper meaning in life. While her peers followed conventional paths, Saba was drawn to something more profound: the mysteries of the human mind and the uncharted depths of the soul.

At 17, she stumbled upon Iranian mysticism, a philosophy that spoke to something deep within her—something that felt like home. Yet, as she grew older, the expectations of society and the demands of adulthood clouded that inner clarity.

By 28, her life—one that had once seemed perfect on the surface—was suddenly turned upside down. A life-altering event shattered her values and beliefs, leaving her feeling lost and confused. Everything she thought she knew no longer made sense. But in that painful moment of uncertainty, she saw an opportunity—to rediscover who she truly was. Determined to reclaim her path, Saba immersed herself in the study of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), psychology, and personal development. It was at this intersection—where ancient self-knowledge met modern psychological frameworks—that she found the key to her transformation. She realized that true fulfillment isn’t about external validation but about rediscovering the self that had always been there.

This revelation wasn’t just personal—it was a mission. She knew she wasn’t alone in this struggle. Countless individuals—leaders, professionals, and dreamers—were wandering through life, disconnected from their true purpose. So she took action.

Building a Movement in Tehran

With newfound clarity, Saba founded Hooa Counseling Center in Tehran, a sanctuary for those seeking direction. Through one-on-one coaching, self-awareness workshops, and leadership development programs, she helped over 100 individuals and 20 companies rediscover their potential, guiding them toward authentic success. Her method was unique—blending the wisdom of Iranian mysticism with cutting-edge psychology and NLP techniques. She didn’t just help people set goals; she helped them transform from within, unlocking hidden talents and leading them toward a life of fulfillment, clarity, and true happiness.

For four years, she poured her heart and soul into building a thriving business. But then, in 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic struck, forcing her to shut down the center she had worked so hard to grow. It was another life-altering storm—this time at age 37. Once again, her world turned upside down. And once again, she chose to follow her heart. Rather than seeing this as an ending, she saw it as another transformation.

A New Chapter in the U.S: Expanding the Mission

With her deep trust in her soul’s journey, Saba made a bold decision—she moved to the United States to pursue an MBA in Massachusetts, equipping herself with new tools to take her work to the next level. Just as she had pivoted at 30—shifting from management to psychology—she now embraced a global perspective, blending business strategy with self-awareness coaching to help leaders and entrepreneurs on a much larger scale.

Now, alongside her husband—an experienced counselor and higher education business development—she has launched Noor Bloom in New Hampshire, dedicated to helping CEOs, entrepreneurs, and business leaders worldwide. Her innovative approach empowers leaders not just to succeed but to thrive with purpose, aligning their personal growth with professional excellence.
